05 March 2010. Pressie from me to me.

I bought myself a (slightly late) birthday pressie today.

I've never been in the habit of using telephoto lenses before. Until today, the longest I had for the D700 was 50mm. We'll see how it goes with this big fella. It should certainly satisfy all my telephoto needs. Whilst in Jacobs, I also played with the 16-35, which was very nice and much more expensive. One for the wish list, I think.

Imp is on her way across. I think she may be bringing a pressie or two too :-)

And it's Friday! All is good.

    I have one of those but mine is broken so I will have to shopping too but it's a month till my birthday...

    I'm a great believer in 'treating yourself' (but having said that my today's impulse purchases were a plastic cat bowl and a couple of bath towels, maybe I should listen to myself sometimes!) Have a great telephoto weekend!

    Pressie from me to me this weekend also (my favourite kind)! Similar but a Canon. Should be in the post. Hope it arrives before Friday as I'm heading for Shetland. No trees, but lots of sea birds!
