I think my brain has been getting in the way of my eye. That isn't as painful as it sounds, but it does mean that I haven't been taking loads of brilliant photos like wot I used to... Nevermind. These things come and go.
Another lovely weekend with Imp :-) Little else to say.

It was a lovely weekend. The only reason you're not taking loads of brilliant pictures like you used to is that you're not taking loads of pictures. Some of your recent ones are just as brilliant. There's just not so many. I'm finding it hard to get motivated to take pictures too just now. I like this picture though I agree it's not one of your best.
ReplyDeleteWell I love all the reflections!
ReplyDeleteFor me the objective in image making is to have the mind and eye working in perfect harmony. So seamlessly that it becomes instinctive. Then there is the possibility of a half decent result (in your own terms). You have to be working at it all the time even when you don't have your creative tools to hand. The good is easy, brilliant takes a lot of blood, sweat and tears, and most still will never achieve it. It's good fun trying though. I think you need to set yourself new challenges ....
ReplyDeleteNice shot. I don't think it will stand up in court though!
ReplyDeleteI had my brain removed....
....no brain involvement at all. Just point the camera in a vague manner and hope for the best!
Gives immense pleasure on the rare occasion it works.
I like all the different dimensions of this: the sign, the window, behind the window, you, behind you... a bit like Alice in Wonderland but a duck instead of a rabbit.
