I hate that clock

25 October 2009, originally uploaded by sleepyduck.

I'm all in favour of civic art and if it's useful, then so much the better - but I'm afraid that to my eyes that thing looks like it was conceived and designed by a not-very-talented ten year old. It seems to be quite well constructed, though...

Sunday evening. Ugh.

  1. I like the way the person passing it is almost mirroring in the opposite direction. I quite like that clock. I'm glad it's well constructed as it would give someone a very sore head if it fell down.

Thanks for a lovely weekend x

  2. Must admit I don't like it too much either, but I do like this picture! Imp's right too you've got the mirror image spot on!

  3. The clock looks as though it's going to step on someone - quite threatening. A good shot of it though with someone stepping past and both in the reflections in the puddles.

  4. I quite like the legs, but the actual clock lets the whole thing down!

  7. Looks as if that leg is about to stomp on the pedestrian passing underneath :-)
