A few weeks ago, I posted a photo of the dummy tram which had appeared at the west end of Princes Street. The tram disappeared a few days ago and now, in the same spot, there is an inflatable white thing. And a blue tent. I have no idea what the inflatable white thing is supposed to be but I daresay I shall find out soon enough.

I reckon it's Santa's grotto scenery ,mark my words there'll be inflatable elves perching on those pinacles before you know it!
