Reflective

11 November 2009, originally uploaded by sleepyduck.

The photograph, not my mood. This is Grindlay Street reflected in the new Usher Hall extension reflected in the window of the (empty) TSO shop on Grindlay Street. I'm mildly intrigued by the pole in the middle. It didn't look like an old street lamp, but nor did it look like anything else...

  1. Oooh. My comment isn't here. I must have got distracted and not properly finished the process! What I said was that I like this image. I find it confusing and I still haven't worked everything out in it.

Another day closer to the weekend!

  3. I like this, it's difficult to work out what is reflection and what isn't. The pole does look old - could it be a gas lamp pole? Or maybe it isn't that old.

  4. Fascinating shot, the more you look at it the more you see. I was just thinking about yesterdays shot,. Isn't Powderhall where the professional sprinting races were years ago? In the days of amateurism, I was always intrigued by the idea of Athletes racing for money.
