A few days ago, a friend drew my attention to a photographer who was posting some interesting shots on another site. Today, I learned that he has been kicked out. I don't know why: I can only guess. But it's a terrible shame: I was looking forward to seeing more of his work.
A dull picture for today. A couple of these grey things have appeared close to the office. (They were grey even before I converted the shot to B&W.) I don't know what they are for. I like to think that they have something to do with time travel. But I suspect that they are merely things for Festival performers to stick their posters to.

Who's the latest hooligan who has been branded as 'un-suitable' in the other place and joined the reject pile? I think your right on the dull grey things.

ReplyDeleteJust checked out MrCandid on Blipfoto (Oops, I shouldn't be there - maybe they will send out the death ray to fry my laptop!) His/her stuff is totally brilliant though someone beside-her-self didn't seem to think so. Respect!

ReplyDeleteI think the grey thing has a more mundane purpose than space travel. I think it's just for beaming up between Edinburgh and Glasgow - the new transport since it looks like only the great grandchildren will be around when the trams are ready...
Thank you for the kind words, I know my the MrCandid element to my persona was a bit out there for blip central, no hard feelings here, blip is a narrow channel to work inside, I have conformed in the past, but sometimes you need to experiment and push your own styles beyond those set by other commercially orientated sites.
